Our Guarantee-Certified Built Right

All of our custom and handcrafted tiny homes are certified through NOAH, the National Association of Alternative Housing. This will give you the assurance your home has been built right and to all current housing standards for alternative housing to withstand the test of time. This will also make financing and insuring your home easier.  A NOAH RDI certified home includes the standards from the RV Industry NFPA 1192, ANSI 119.5 and NFPA 70 (NEC) and adding energy and structural standards from the home building industry.

NOAH RDI Home Inspection and Certification provides the opportunity to build with integrity and access a digitized home inspection for future use. According to TinyHouse.com, “NOAH is another great certification to look for. Just like RVIA, this Organization ensures that the small house is built to the predetermined standards set by trusted professionals, builders and inspectors. The NOAH Certification incorporates safety, structure, and energy efficiency standards that are widely used in the RV, Tiny Home, and Residential industries. They also have a great resource for DIY builders which allows them to inspect and certify a tiny house that is being built by an individual DIYer.”

Dave Selenke

Dave is a co-founder of Prairieland Tiny Homes and nearly three decades of experience  in construction and building with a focus on detail finishing work. Dave started designing furniture and cabinets in the early 1990’s. He has been involved with all aspects of tiny home construction and really enjoys the design process. He is your point of contact for the ideation and design of your custom and handcrafted home. Dave is a veteran who served in the US Navy and Air National Guard. He is also an accomplished artist and enjoys sculpting and wildlife design. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing. Dave is married to Dixie Selenke. They have 5 children and 21 grandchildren

Jimmy Walker

Jimmy is the co-founder of Prairieland Tiny Homes. He has spent his entire career in residential construction. Jimmy will oversee your tiny home build from start to finish. Jimmy enjoys spending time with his family and enjoys fishing. Jimmy is married to Erica Walker. They have 8 children.

Rachel Walker

Rachel is a graduate of Kansas State University with a degree in Business Administration. She handles all accounting, marketing and social media. Outside of her professional endeavors, she enjoys spending time with family, drinking good coffee, and working out.
